About me

I am an artist and illustrator based in Penzance.

 

I work predominantly in watercolour, gouache and pencil, collaging layers of painted paper to create textured illustrations. I take inspiration from the changing seasons: from the plants and wildlife I see out and about on my walks in Cornwall to the ingredients on my kitchen table. 

 

I love walking; exploring on foot and noticing little details along the way, learning about local history and the stories of a place feeds my imagination. I design greetings cards, illustrate to commission and am always working on new illustrations.
